Lord,
Your men and women of the field are at work,
providing.
Just as you have provided for us.
We ask that you protect farmers in this season,
keep our troubles low and our spirits high,
our bodies safe and our minds at ease,
our equipment true and our breakdowns few.
We ask that you remind our families to be strong, present
and patient – and for patience of our own.
We ask that our cabs are comfortable and our views colorful,
and that our harvest be abundant – in love and yield,
We pray that you bring us to our earthly home each day.
Lord, it was with Your will that the farmer was born
to tend the land and livestock.
It is Your will that we obey.
We ask for another year to serve You.
